Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe, a singer-songwriter of country music hailing from the US. The group she formed with Ashley Monroe called Pistol Annies, with Angaleena Presley and Miranda Lambert in 2007, before releasing her second album called Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe performing Blake SheltonIn 2016, she released The Blade which was another highly acclaimed album. Ashley Monroe works as the Assistant village manager of Riverside Illinois. With over 15 years of experience, she has worked at various levels of public service, with five years of experience as Iowa City's city manager position as Deputy. Her current duties as Assistant Village Manager are to oversee the operation of the Community Development and Building Department managing grants, as well as completing specific initiatives. Ashley is in charge of the daily operations at Riverside Village, while also working to implement the goals and strategies that elected representatives. Ashley's previous roles included the planning of municipal services, public communications, budgeting, personnel management as well as collective negotiations. Additionally, she was involved in the climate change issue. Because of her involvement with local and national organisations as well as her work with communities that have populations of varying sizes, Ashley has gained insight into the many complexities and differences in how public organizations work.
